69th Tactical Fornication Squadron From fighter pilot Mark Berent: "The Rat Beach patch was strictly for my pad in Venice. In 1966, I am back from my first SEA tour. I was assigned to SAMSO in El Segundo and had rented a nifty pad right on the beach in Venice. I called it Rat Beach Air Force Base, home of the 69th TFS (Tactical Fornication Squadron).The Santa Monica mountains are in the background, the wolf coming from the water is looking ad sinistram, to the left, meaning illegitimate. The French is misspelled meaning always eating."
