47th Flying Training Wing Torchlight Competition 1987 Torchlight was a 5-day flying and maintenance competition sponsored by HQ ATC and hosted by the 12th Flying Training Wing. The competition was intended to test various phases of instructor pilot proficiency and maintenance capability, and to recognize the best aircrews and maintenance teams in the command.
