1st Training Squadron (Flying) Conducted pre-flight training testing for flight training candidates. On 1 Jul 1991, ATC reassigned the 1 Flight Screening Squadron at Hondo, TX, which supervised the command's flight screening program, from the Officer Training School at Lackland to the 12th Flying Training Wing at Randolph.
