6512th Test Squadron F-16 Drag Chute Test Team 1979 The 6512th assisted with development of drag chute equipped F-16s going to the Norwegian AF. This was a requirement due to the shorter and frequently icy and wet conditions of Norwegian runways. Several other countries adapted this modification as well.
