Strategic Air Command Bomb-Nav Competition 1992
Thirty-fourth Annual Bombing and Navigation Competition/PROUD SHIELD 92 was the last Bomb Comp conducted by SAC. Similar to the most recent Bomb Comps, PROUD SHIELD 92 was conducted in phases. First phase involved KC-10 cargo unloading and unloading exercise on 8 April. The flying portion took place between 13 and 15 April with 21 SAC units (B-52s, B-1s, KC-135s, EC-135s, and KC-10s); five USAFR units (KC-135s, KC-10s); nine ANG units (KC-135s); and a KC-10 squadron from TAC.
