Raytheon AN/DSM-162 AIM-7 Sparrow Test Set The AN/DSM-162 is a test set designed by Raytheon to support field-level maintenance of the AIM-7F missile. It is used to isolate issues within the target seeker, flight control, or tunnel cable subsystems of the AIM-7F. The AN/DSM-162 was complemented by the EMMA (Expert Missile Maintenance Aid) prototype, which further enhanced field maintenance capabilities and connects to the AN/DSM-162 via an RS-232 cable. Other models of this test set include the AN/DSM-162A and AN/DSM-162B. The AN/DSM-162 falls under the National Stock Number for Guided Missile Maintenance, Repair, and Checkout Specialized Equipment.
