392d Training Squadron Morale

EWO= Emergency War Order. The patch is from Vandenberg's now-defunct 392d Training Squadron, which at the time did both space training and missile training. The unit was divided into two flights: DOB (missiles) and DOC (space). DOB was further divided into sections: DOBA (academics, which taught the weapon system; DOBE (EWO, which conducted training on the receipt and processing of the Emergency War Orders); and DOBM (MPT, which trained the students in the Missile Procedures Trainer, i.e., the simulator of a Launch Control Center).
