US Military Patches

2d Airborne Command and Control Squadron In-Flight Passenger Service
2 ACCS/DOFT Functional patch worn by the airborne food service specialist (cook) on the left shoulder. This patch was designed in 1985 by Sgt Evan Mills. Its wear was discontinued when the Looking Glass ceased round-the-clock operations in 1990 because the In-flight Passenger Service branch of the squadron (DOFT) was disbanded at that time. After that, crew members preordered the infamous "box lunches."
