F-105 Thunderchief Alert/Wingfoot Appears to be a two part patch showing the alert side in red, and Wingfoot side in blue. Wingfoot was the code name given to jets and pilots that were dedicated nuclear alert spares to be generated if the primaries launched. These were flown without weapons in order to keep both aircraft and pilots flying between actual alert stints. From either the 36 or 49 TFW, German made.
