Ballistic Missile Office

The Ballistic Missile Office (BMO) develops, produces, acquires, and tests all DOD intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) systems. It also modifies existing ICBM facilities. Current BMO missile involvement includes the ICBM development activities for the Peacekeeper, the small ICBM program, the Minuteman, and the Advanced Strategic Missile Systems Program. The BMO manages the development of the Peacekeeper (M-X) missile system.
