6007th Reconnaissance Group (Composite) Performed highly classified missions over the Soviet Union and Communist China and reconnaissance monitoring of the Korean De-militarized Zone (DMZ) during the early years of the Cold War 1954-1957. Used many different recce aircraft of the day from RF-80s to RF-100s, and RB-45s to RB-50s. Much of this unit's history still remains classified. Japan made.
