Redesignated Night Defense Squadron Pacific (NDEVRONPAC) on 6 Apr 1946; Composite Squadron, Night ONE (VCN-1) on 11 Nov 1946; Fleet All Weather Training Unit Pacific (FAWTUPAC) on 1 Sep 1948, All-Weather Fighter Squadron THREE (VF-(AW)-3) (2nd) on 2 May 1958. Disestablished on 1 Mar 1963. Insignia approved on 17 Oct 1947, modified for use as FAWTUPAC in 1948. Grumman F8F-1 Bearcat, 1946-1948 Grumman F7F-3 Tigercat, 1946-1948 Ryan FR-1 Fireball, 1946-1949 Douglas F3D-2 Skynight, 1953-1958 Douglas F4D-1 Skyray, 1956-1963
