AN/AVQ-14 PAVE ARROW Laser Tracker Pod; used with AN/AVQ-12; used on C-123, F-100D, O-2A. Contractor unknown. Project Pave Arrow was at Eglin AFB, Florida. The unit charged with evaluating this device used ten F-100Ds and four O-2s. The pod was a laser seeker with vertical display to the pilot on a Ferranti gunsight. (This configuration required a lot of modifications to the aircraft.) The O-2 carried a laser target designator in the back seat.
