Attack Squadron 155 (VA-155)

Established as Reserve Attack Squadron SEVENTY ONE E (VA-71E) in 1946. Redesignated Reserve Attack Squadron FIFTY EIGHT A (VA-58A) on 1 Oct 1948; Reserve Composite Squadron SEVEN HUNDRED TWENTY TWO (VC-722) on 1 Nov 1949; Reserve Attack Squadron SEVEN HUNDRED TWENTY EIGHT (VA-728) on 1 Apr 1950. Called to active duty as Attack Squadron SEVEN HUNDRED TWENTY EIGHT (VA-728) on 1 Feb 1951; Attack Squadron ONE HUNDRED FIFTY FIVE (VA-155) on 4 Feb 1953. Disestablished on 30 Sep 1977. The second squadron to to be assigned the VA-155 designation.
