Lockheed F-35B Lightning II, 2010-.
Marine Operational Test and Evaluation Squadron 1 (VMX-1) and Marine Fighter Attack Training Squadron 501 (VMFAT-501) conducted the first ever trans-Atlantic flight of the F-35B Lightning II on 29 Jun 2016 to demonstrate the capabilities of the fifth generation aircraft and participate at the Royal International Air Tattoo and the Farnborough International Air Show.
