3306th Pilot Training Group (Contract Primary) T-37 Project PALM 1959 First USAF use of the T-37 with actual students. Class 59-D at Bainbridge was the test class for the new T-37, known as Project Palm. Class students designed, had manufactured, and wore it during the experiment. The first Primary Class to use it was 59-G.
