Heavy Airlift Wing C-17 Maintenance
The Heavy Airlift Wing is an international military airlift organization. It was officially activated on 27 July 2009 as part of the Strategic Airlift Capability program, which purchased and operates three C-17 Globemaster III aircraft that fly under the national markings of Hungary. USAF personnel make up a large portion of this unit. Bulgaria, Estonia, Finland, Hungary, Lithuania, The Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Romania, Slovenia, and Sweden are the other participating countries.
