US Military Patches

2d Airborne Command and Control Squadron Airborne Launch Control System LOOKING GLASS
Designed by Maj Norm Ruiz as a "back patch" (it's nearly a foot in diameter) for Airborne Launch Control System officers in the 2 ACCS who were commonly referred to as "luggers" because their primary job until late 1991 was transporting (i.e., lugging) heavy code components from vault storage to the Looking Glass aircraft, and back, before and after each 8-hour flight (three round trips every day). Only a handful were made.
